NZ FTA TV service.
A NZ friend told me that there is a proposal for all NZ FTA TV to go satellite in the future with terrestial translators to be phased out and after looking at Lyngsat for one of the D series I saw a series of FTA NZ channels in place and I was wondering if they are receiveable in OZ along the east coast ??
From what I understood from my friend this is for digital TV rather than NZ replacing the current analog terrestial transmitters with digital ones as is being done here.

yep! Freeview NZ. i think i read somewhere on vetrun.com that the NZ beam off Optus D1 can be received on the east coast with a 10m or larger dish. maybe.
only a 10m dish ??? easy peasy !!!!!!!!
