on just any image.

Mate, it realy isn't THAT hard. All the info your after is here and can be found with a little bit of searching.

Next you'll be wanting to us to watch it for you too

You could also ask the supplier for some support perhaps?

I am trying to run CCcam 2.10 and NewCS 1.65 but having no luck in clearing any channel.

Note: there is no card in box; must there be one before channels can clear????

not sure what channels/services your trying to watch
but if someone had cracked the cardless set-up (highly unlikely for pay-tv)
they might then start on solving the GFC.

in short mate - yes there needs to be a card (somewhere) to watch paytv

for auroura I hear other options are available but I never cracked them

if I have a pay-tv card, what then is the role of cccam and newcs.
please give me some light on this.

Sounds like you have ample time to have a search / read to shed light on what CCcam and Newcs will do for you.... you need to sign up for a service such as Fox, Aurora, to get you rolling once you have a paid subscription many here will help you to get it running in the Dm800.....

you will need a card for there to be any hope..

A card is not always required.
It depends on what services your trying to get.

If it's an old fox installation your trying to use then that's another can of worms because you would need to re-point your dish - easier said than done.

Have a look at and then tell us what your hoping to receive
anything there with a red 'F' is free to air - that is 'not encrypted'
Check out Optus D1 & D2.
FTA does not require NewCS or CCcam at all. They are emulators that decrypt given a valid card, but if it's not encrypted in the first instance, they are not required.

Now, what satellite did you say you were pointed at and what services did you say your hoping to receive?

You haven't done your research very well, have you?

The point and advantage is that the card can be shared with other dreamboxes.
You don't miss anything over using the provider box, but the provider box can not on-share the card.

hi

the trick here is in CCcam.cfg

add the following lines:
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 4500000
SMARTCARD WRITE DELAY: /dev/sci0 100

frequencies can be:
358(3.58mhz), 450(4.5mhz), 536(5.36mhz), 600(6.00mhz), 800(8.00mhz, 1000(10.00 mhz), 1071(10.71mhz)
