Wireless AV Boxes - Do They Work?
Have recently moved home and now that everything is setup have noticed that there is no arial socket in the bedroom (This is a rental so cant go drilling into things).
Now i have managed to get a very small portable arial which works fine and get all the digital channels. My question is how can i broadcast the dvd player or ther AV content like the media centre content through to the bedroom.
Ive done some reasearch and seen a few AV wireless sender boxes. I am just checking if anyone on Austech have used them and if they are any good?
Mainly is the image and sound quality up to scratch and are there any interferance issues with wireless broadband?
Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Get a 5.8ghz unit because your wireless internet will probably be 2.4ghz. I use a 5.8 at my place for satellite TV and it works well and the microwave doesn't interfere with it either.
go 5.8Ghz one.
The do work very well and you will be happy with the result as long as you understand that it is only composite quality.
I run mine on a 4 input switch so I can change sources easily.

as the others said, get a 5.8ghz one, the 2.4's are useless, my wireless network, cordless home phone, microwave etc meant constant breakups and snow with the 2.4 ones, go straight for 5.8 and save yourself having to return the 2.4 when you realise we were all right!
good luck
adam.
