I use to work on them all the time. Are you sure it's not called Cell Guard?

    Anyhow, distributes Austco.

    What state are you in?

As george said any of the Calltec or Tecsound (TSV) branches should be able to help you out.

Well I have used them in pretty harsh/vandalism environments. Pretty rock solid if installed properly, occasional replacements here and there, but mainly service calls to clean soap/shit and match sticks out of them.

Other nurse call/intercom systems of that nature would be Jaques.

Yeah, it would be call guard, for the hospital end of town. It's a more prettier, less vandal-resistant for use by patients and nurses. Cell guard is the tougher, rugged system for use by inmates/officers.

They both pretty much work the same way, with that funky shift-register addressing of units! You'll find that Austco are quite helpful with the software and tech specs of the system.

Slightly o/t, but Jacques is a good system too. It's given the least grief of the knockup systems I've had the joy of working with!

There is a few different software packages, some for programming and commisioning, others is the front end software.

MCCONFIG is the software used to configure the newer head end MC4010
Callcare or EZpage is the end user software.

Its been 6 years since I have touched the stuff, my memory is a little rusty.

I have installed alot of this stuff for Calltech and the other company that used to install it.
Really good solid system, straight forward.
Xacom is another good one for a fair price, if you have a good budget Rauland is the ducks- nuts
