    Default cctv joystick thought

has anyone, ever thought of making a regular pc joystick converted into a cctv joustick?,it would be a lot cheaper.. i have a ps2 gamepad converted to pc,and just as i thought, i wunder if the 2 little joysticks on them could be used,my cctv is a win2k based,so if theres software to control my software, or even, an adapter making a ps2 gamepad into a cctv joystick,
just a little thaught for the day..

    any thinkers??

Mobitix already does this for their virtual PTZ.
    Any USB joystick.

Seriously though I think the joystick's days are dead. Most system I see that have both mouse and joystick control end up pushing the joystick to the back of the table.

my system doesnt, its a kodicom running on win2000, unless theres some setting ive missed, it doesnt support keybord to move the ptz thats why i thaught of this to use it as a replacement,os for a ptz joystick, usable to acess the setup menu, and control all settings, aswel as camera, off ebay cheapest is 220 + $50 delivery,so doing your way, that mean a totaly new recording system, wich it probably same price, or even more.
