WinCe 5.0 is best for TomTom. Not sure if the Kogan is 4.2 or 5.0. Ask them.

Otherwise it's just another cheap chinese PNA.

Visit the 'Cheap GPS Lost Thread' to find out what it can do.

At $299 it's way way overpriced and the std Kogan 'Smart2Go' GPS software is very very ordinary.

I personally have owned a kogan fio and thought it was great - very simple to use and had all the features i wanted. I recently bought the latest Kogan Gps unit with the big screen and its incredible compared to the old one. Cheap too. My friend has a tomtom go720 and the new kogan is heaps better.

Which nav system does it come with?

    R66, iGO8 or ?

Their shop sites are very, very, very confused re their nav system offering.

If it's any other than iGO8; then it's not worth a cracker against a Tom Tom.

Compared to Tomtom or Igo 8 it is a pile of $hit. I have loaded it on my PDA and its just like a toy compared to TT & Igo. Unless you want to just have a play with it to see how crappy it is don't bother.
