In todays Sydney SunHearald newspaper is a bit of an article regarding the forthcoming digital changeover and comments on possible reception problems some may face and the article goes on to quote one Roseville suburb resident who claims he cannot receive ABC2.
Roseville is literally under the ABC transmitter at Gore Hill and is also noted as having a very rough terrain.
The article was not clear as to whether this person was able to receive ABC digital at all, just that he could not receive ABC2.
According to the article numerous attempts have failed to fix the problem.

Now I would have thought if you can receive ABC digital you would receive all those channels in the mix, not only part of it.
The article doesnt say if its a HD plasma/LCDTV, STB or PRV decoder in use.

My curiosity here is, is it possible to not to receive part of a specific channel?
Without checking I think ABC digital in Sydney is on Ch 12 VHF if that makes any difference.
