    Default DS Lite problem

    Just asking if anyone has had the same problem have got a DS lite when i turn it on it only stays on for a couple of seconds then goes off the green light flashes, i have bought a new battery but still no good, can anyone help or maybe suggest wear i can get it looked at

    does the green light stay on flashing , or does it the entire unit switch off very quickly
    where are you located as well , you should find someone close to you to fix that .
    Also has it been dropped recently ?
    if you are handy with a soldering iron , in general you should be able to fix this issue yourself as well

    the light flashes then goes of when the unit shuts down, i have been unable to find anyone to fix it, and i wouldnt no where to start with the soldering iron

    Wii own 4 ds lites and two have done what you describe, unfortunately both times liquid was the culprit, but both were able to be fixed once by Nintendo and once by a local guy.

    I've one that's doing the same. I think it was suggested when I first asked about it that it may be the fuse. I havent had the time to take it apart and have a look at mine as yet.

    yeah look there are two small fuses to check and a few other components
    which state are you in , like I say there are plenty of people around that can help
