Default Update a cam in Iolite

    Silly question time.

In Iolite I can't see cccam 2.05 for example, in the download menu. When I select software downloads, Iolite doesn't really even seem to check for online software, instead it instantly builds the list.

Also I tried installing cccam 2.05 manually by dumping it in the tmp folder and then manually installing and it said it was successful. However it doesn't appear as an available cam.

i found with iolite, you have to update the menu first, then go to the download section and pick the cams and its in there.

I have tried to do this as well, however I have found that when trying to install CCcam2.05 I get a message coming back saying that there is "not enough free space"
I am using a PLi image that z80 has configured and posted as an image.

Is there any advice as to where to find in the DM500 what "excess to requirements files" could be deleted to free up space?

    start uninstalling - then install
if you have an earlier cccam that should go 1st
remember to save your config - just in case

its like that old game with numbers on the squares - move that way out the way - then move that one in the way - one square at a time

Which means you are using a DM500 and there is not enough space in your /var directory to put this file and install it after you have downloaded it.

Deleting the old CCcam will not help as this is in flash ram, so you will have to delete some of the other software (newCS, newcamd etc) to install it.

hmm, I've tried that before and just tried it again and I get a message that says my menu was already up to date.

Still no cccam 2.05 in my list.

    I am using a Dm7020. Any ideas?

The latest PLi Iolite software management menu is 4025 (if you do a manual download of the latest menu on the 7020) and the latest CCcam is there version 2.0.6 ..

Hi jonc. When I do a manual update it says it was successful but also says the menu was up to date. Although the current version is 3039

Fixed by updating from Iolite 20071206 to Iolite 2008.
