    Default dm500+share foxtel

Hi guys, I know this will be a very old topic, but I still want to make sure this can be work.

    1. Can dm500 internal card reader read genuine Foxtel card?

    2. If I put a dream box down stairs as a server, can I watch Fox channels on upstair by using another dm500 as a client. Can CCcam share Fox services? As I know, SelecTV cannot.

    Thanks!

This question is answered on a weekly basis.

Have you had a look through this forum -> ?

Even a little bit of would have lead you to a 'yes' answer.

But in short yes, run the bluey down stairs. Simply add a F line eg
    F: user password

On the client upstairs simply run a C line eg
C: 192.168.0.20 12000 user password (where 192.168.0.20 is the downstairs server IP, 12000 is the default port).

Nothing else is required in the Cccam.cfg other than the C line on the client.

OK, I'm having a similar problem.

Trying to share externally. I'm the server (and that's where the problem is)

    Using Newsc and Cccam.

Sharing on a LAN no probs

Cccam.cfg has the following added line

    N: 192.MYIP.0.0 12000 username password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    C: username password

What and how do I config my Newsc.xml

Tried a few things with no luck.

The client works fine. Tested to another IP and got pics. Cant get through my router. I have port FWD my router to the port I am using. I have also created a DNS and tried that. Something pretty simple here............and it's me!

Can you get to your router via your DNS?

you should server the card with one or the other Choose Newcs or CCcam then work from there.

you can serve from newcs to CCcam and then cccam can on share but its easier just to add in the user/pass for each box in the newcs.xml file, Then you client can use any version of emu they want eg mgcamd or evocamd etc.

ok my server is newsc only. No CCcam installed now. My other 2 boxes within my house are both sharing fine. One has CCcam (Dream) and the other is Newcamd (Octagon)

Now my mate has a Dream with CCcam. He has tested his unit to another server and got pics straight away.

    Now to config my end.

I have port fwd all ports that are mentioned in the script. (Newsc.xml)

maybe your you have the same ip for your dreambox as something connected to your network. Maybe your computer is using the same ip as your box which stuffs it up

Use cccam as client.Newcs as server.
Make sure his router has firewall disabled.

    your N line
    N: 127.0.0.1 34000 user1 user1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

he doesnt need N line in cccam.cfg.
    His C line
c: MY IP ADD - PORT 12000 username password
    your F line F:username password 2 0 0 in cccam.cfg

Will give mate access to the Phoenix card
    N: yourIP 10000 user1 user1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Will give him access to the slot1 (sci0) card
    N: yourIP 34000 user1 user1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Will give him access to the slot2 (sci1)card
    N: yourIP 34001 user1 user1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

so his cfg only needs to have...
    N: yourIP 34000 user1 user1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    N: yourIP 34001 user1 user1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    N: yourIP 10000 user1 user1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

NOTHING ELSE need be in the file unless he has a card serving.

    Mate,
N: lines are newcamd server connection eg, Newcs.

F: & C: Lines are both for CCcam serving & re-sharing. You really dont want people to be spidering/re-sharing off your card.

Your newcs xml can be a bit tidyer but how it works..

This is really all you need each Mate you allow to share you edit your xml file and add another entry as below..

    <user>
    <name>user1</name>
    <password>user1</password>
    <au>on</au>
    </user>

Then you restart Newcs to let changes take affect.
(each line gives access to each card if you have 2 cards)

The you give you mate these N:lines

Your friend would add them into what ever format he needs for the EMU he is using.
