find a Rhino stockist and contact them for a replacement

Or Jaycar for a learning one, its where i got mine from.

First you need to fix your old one though.

Open her up, replace your battery, make sure its working electronically (no broken connections) and if that does not help have a look inside for a tuning pot (variable resistor), sometimes turning it a little either way is all thats needed to get it working. Once working keep playing with the adjustment while extending your distance to maximize its range.

I have fixed a few different remotes this way, sometimes though it may be beyond help, then just grab a new one.

If it's a code hopping remote/system, forget the after market ones. You'll HAVE to get the correct original type, and relearn them to the system.

I'm pretty certain that with the Rhino alarms you will need at least one working remote to get into the learning mode or send it back to Rhino

Yeah, You're right. But, we can't tell too much because of obvious reasons.
Each system comes with two remotes. Apart from flat batteries, which aren't a problem, there shouldn't be anything major happen.
The remotes normally only fail after owner missuse or forgetfullness. IE. Went swimming with the keys in my boardie pocket, etc.
If you cannot get yourself organised after the first one fcuks up to get another spare, well, hard luck.
You may have to get a new system.
