Default Problem with some games with R4

We just recently discovered the benefits of R4. However some of the games just won't play. I get a message saying something like " power off, remove card and then re-insert"Any ideas on how to overcome this?
    Thanks in advance

If this doesn't fix this, let us know which games you are struggling with. I've never seen this error, but I've only ever had a problem with one game, but I know of games that have had problems (on all cards).

Could be a save file issue. I had this with the Ben-10 game. Google Arm 7 fix and it will explain how I solved this issue for my son

Thanks everyone. I updated the kernal to version 1.5 and all seems OK now. Thanks to all who helped.
