IQ2 HDMI set up

just put the HDMI cable on the IQ2 box to the PLASMA and i get picture and sound, but when i go into the foxtel box set up HDMI is not given as an option.
All i am offered is HD component SDTV scart SD VCR scart ( i have none of these connected)
It doesn't add up!

I never worry about that.
Just as long as it works when I use a HDMI cable, then all is ok
