Should I get one overseas (Bangkok) or here??
probably here so you'll have warranty.
In my experience electronics arent THAT much cheaper in bangkok/hk/etc
my fav would be acekard2i for these units.
If you are thinking of going with D, then get a C. Why? Becuase you will be able to add rather useful programs like DSKey or other Wifi finders (the new DSi is better at grabbing a signal, even aircrack ), as well as other programs like MSN.
I wouldn't get one OS because of the fact that you would have to get a charger for Australian conditions in the end and they have a specific charging plug (Nintendo changed this for the DSi from the DS I believe).
If you want to try one out go to EBgames or a game store they probably have one lying around under the counter that the staff mess with.
Coding in C is like sending a 3 year old to do groceries. You gotta tell them exactly what you want or you'll end up with a cupboard full of pop tarts and pancake mix.
