Most routers i know of use 192.168.0.1 as the GUI address ? Do a search for specs of the router and maybe an online manual.
I lent this router to a mate & it's come back with a problem. I cannot get into its menu, normally 192.168.1.254. I asked him if he had changed any settings & he had tho can't remember to what.I've done a reset & that didn't help.Any back door method I can try? Or any other suggestions. Ta

On the underside of the router it has the GUI address & password inf. Apparently it was changed to 192.168.0.1. I also tried this address. NBG.
There should be a reset button / hole that will reset it back, if not
Plug the Router in to your Pc
Go to Start, Run, type CMD (dos promt)
type Ipconfig or Ipconfig /all
then look for Default Gateway, that is the ip address of the Router
Thanks Jaz808. I just tried that & default gateway came up as 192.1.1.254. Put that address in & still unable to get in. Scratch scratch
No it only came up address not found. bugga
