All OK here.... but I don't go though telstra.
Foxtel encryption is not affected by sellers, so don't see that it would be anything to do with your problem.
Whats the deal with legit F*x*el ATM
I have been a long time subscriber with PAY TV for a while.
Lost service Tuesday at 4pm and have had no TV since.
Smartcard is not authorised appears on the screen.
I get my TV through T*ls*ra and I ring one and the other blames the other.
Something about a big upgrade and it is affecting ALOT of people.
Ring tech support and it says Ring back later - hang up (Kaching to Telstra!)
Ring Telstra (We are closed but foxtel are open still .... so stay with us as you will get better service....)
Two days and counting - sounds like a major mess up to me.
Then my mind moved to this forum and writing.
Do you reckon they are trying to clean up the seller situation....????
They did pretty well to stuff up a customer who pays month after month for 3 years.
Anyway had to moan...
Anyone else out there having a problem or am I the only one...
Cheers
Chilly

As Foxtel is N*S and has not been compromised by sellers cards, I don't see how.(damn I gotta type faster)
Maybe it's to do with the move to HD. Damn poor service though and I would be demanding reimbursement for down time (when you finally get to talk to them)

The tech from F*x is blaming Telstra and vice versa.
They are blaming an upgrade to their system.
Latest update I got is their is a major problem with alot of legit subscribers having the same problem.
'smartcard not authorised' to me meant maybe the details had been removed from their system.
Sellers? I dunno - maybe I lurk to much on this forum
I was thinking if there is anything out there they would be copies of legit cards not hacked ones.
Shouldnt beleive everything you read eh?
Anyway - I will be seeking re-imbursement - they are so keen to cut me off if I am a day late paying so they deserve it.
I am also looking at splitting my T*s*tra from Fox as I am getting ready to ditch them - their service is bad, and they charge way to much for something I dont need.
Moan Moan Moan!
Over at dtvinfo they're talking about Fox doing a major upgrade to its back-end system, seems like it isn't going according to plan, customers not able to lodge service faults...
