Default EOI - Cheap Relook 400s Group Buy Offer. Twin Tuner Linux PVR

    Hi Guys,

As you may or may not know we are the guys who have been selling a few different satellite receivers on eBay for the past few years. This has included the Relook 400s Linux based Twin Tuner Satellite PVR. We currently sell these for $370 on eBay with a 160gb IDE hard disk drive.

We have recently been offered a final large quantity of these after which we wont be able to get any more and we are currently deciding if we should purchase these at all.

Just out of curiosity I thought I might have a go organizing a group buy on here. We would need at least 30 people interested to make this possible at all which I'm thinking may be a tall ask.

If we can get the numbers however we could offer them for $200 each with no hard drive or $240.00 with a 160gb IDE hard drive fitted.

Despite what some may believe they are a great unit and with the latest aftermarket image loaded can decode two channels at once without any dramas and supports time shifting etc. They are definitely on par with the Dreambox units if not better.

I'll see how much interest we get over the next couple of weeks and decide if it should go ahead. If there is little interest we will not completing the order and once we sell the remaining 5 we have in stock we will not be offering these any longer.

    Cheers, Daniel

Looks like the Ebay search engine was misfiring...

I'll make up the numbers, put me down for two with the HDD

Seems like a really good deal, surprised more aren't coming forward.

They are a great box urban.
I was warned not to get one a few years back with the excuse that they didn't seem to have much support.
They have plenty of support. Try for images and support or .
I'm currently running PLI Jade (which you can get from the last site) and I'm pretty happy.
Just one word of caution, these boxes don't work with sellers cards or 1rdeto cards in the slot. Only in a cam. Then again, that doesn't really matter these days.

Good to see some interest guys. I really need a lot of people interested to make it possible though.

All the details above are correct that is our listing etc. We have been selling Receivers for quite a few years now particularly Topfield, Opentel and the DGStation units.

The Enigma based images work a treat on these although you don't get the twin tuner support.

There is some newer images based on the original DGStation images that do everything you want without much drama. I find the RelookSupport image to be the best and it's what I use at home.

i use a Highland image.(2.16) you get images from denktenk.com

Highland has good user interface, press Ok button and an alphabetical list of stations appears with a preview of what you are watching or selecting in a box in a corner of the screen.
    I like this option.
