Default Selectv - suitable decoder - Technosat?

I have a Technosat IR7000 and used to watch Aurora channels with it a few years ago.
The card don't work no more.
If I purchase a Card from Selectv, will It work in my decoder, or do I need to install some sort of program.
I aimed at Intelsat8 and am picking up the channels but the Box says they are scrambled.I don't have a card at the moment.
The Free to air channels are coming through fine though.

"Recently, Technosat IR-7000 Decoder has passed the Decoder Verification Test (DVT) conducted in Amsterdam by Irdeto Access, and is now being offered to all Pay-TV operators using IRDETO Conditional Access around the world.

Having Advance specification and reasonable price, Technosat IR-7000 (with one Embedded Irdeto) is been purchased by most PAY-TV operators worldwide, for eg. Showtime, ADD, ARY. Pink TV, Optus, Zeelink etc."

don't be such a lazy ass and google it.....

selec tv/austar/aurora/ubi etc use irdeto, so your box will work fine with cards for these services....

    I'm not a lazy ass.
I did search but couldn't find something that I could understand.
I know it works for Irdetto 1, but this Selectv is Irdeto 2.

There is no box or manual. It is old unit.
Thank you Soprano...I'll race off where you suggested.

    Thanks to all replies.
