Unfortunately you are not able to access the Bios setup any more you have to remove the startup bios password.
Ive been handed a laptop from a friend thats locked himself out of his account on Vista Business edition , in the past its been a breeze using ophrack or similar software to boot from and change user passwords but in this case he has passworded the bios which is a phoenix securecore tm and forgotten this also , now what I need to do is access the bios to change the boot sequence so I can boot from the cd first so I can change the user password , any ideas ???
Oh and its an acer lifebook laptop , and help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Removing the cemos battery does nothing , password still there after 24 hours , not sure if its connected to some kinda capacitor or something.
best4less might be able to help you.
