your camkey parameter is incorrect.
Hi Guys,
I have a problem to run legit V5 card on 7020. I got the card recognized but no channels are opening. Is there any issue with irdeto and Newcs?
I use latest Gemini and 7020 local card readers.
Please see the log below, thanks

Hi z80,
thanks for fast reply I'm not sure how my camkey parameter should look like. This is how my newcs.xml file looks like at the moment:

Ever thought of using CCcam 2.0.5 or later as the server and client, works for most version I2 V2, V2.2, V4, V5, V5.1, V5.3 & Zeta cards perfectly ?
BTW: you do not always need the CAM key in newcs 1.50 for any of the I2 cards mentioned above, as if this is wrong you have shot yourself in the foot before you even start. Well not on a PC *nix NewCS server and not on my 7020 here either to read and run any of the different V5 cards I have here.
yep....the camkey being all zeroes doesn't work with epsilon cards.

Hi,
my card is Epsilon which is I think v5.4. I did not try CCCam but I will.
Have to learn first how to set it up.
Thanks for suggestion,
mbo
pretty sure you will still need the camkey vales for that as well mate.
I made up an image for the dm500s with all that setup,
I will send you a pm where to find it mate.
thanks for that mate
I tried it yesterday and it opens the channels with no problems.
I got lots of pixelation thou. I succesfully tried also Camd but it had the same problem. In both cases the emm are updated without delays and the pixelation is every 2-3 sec. I think this is Gemini related so I will try PLI and report back.
Thanks,
mbo
Hi guys,
I turned on DB this morning to set up PLI and all is working ok with Gemini now.
I know I do have a problem with DICEC switch or LNB.It has a problems after midday (heat releted I suspect) so I will leave the Gemini for a time beying.
I have to find and fix a problem with hardware first.
Thanks to all for help, (well I donated as a resoult of it
cheers,
mbo
