how to replace the surgical rubber

ggibson , click on the thanks button on the lower right hand side of the post.

I know I am stupid, but I cannot find a thankyou button anywhere.
I just have the "quote","multi quote" and "quick reply" button on the lower right of each post.
And when I reply to a post, I cannot find a thanyou button, on that screen either.
The only thing I have is a "add to reputation" button on the lower left of each post, but that only adds to the poster's aura.

Maybe junior members cannot thank (to stop abuse of the system, or something)

im 73 yo and wear glasses, and can clearly see it in the bottom right hand corner of the post, if you cant see that you better go get your eyes checked.

I have a mate up the road, also a member that cannot get the button either.
I've checked that it is there on IE and Firefox on mine and taken him through various things that I thought could be the cause to no avail.
History, cookies, reboot etc?????

PS:- Default skin, not sure about AV/firewall??

Try using a different skin to see if it appears

Interesting, I was previously thinking of trying to order the rubber and frame seperately (probably cannot order the frame, without the rubber though).
I didn't realise, that just by dismantling and putting in the one parcel, made it legal.

This site seems to have a special order code, for sling shots to Australia.



I don't know if they get through NSW customs though.

That may be the answer as it's not there as a visitor.

Probably designed into the system, to stop someone easily creating a new fake member, then thanking themselves a lot, or something.
I don't know.
Anyway, its not important, I can live without it.

Ummm... ok. Now that I've taken my ...err.... gynocological device... apart into it's respective legal pieces I have to laugh because I know I saw the ...err... parts sold at my local gun shop. I'm going to have to call in once again and just make sure that I'm not on drugs, or that if I am on drugs, that my dose is upped a little.

I had to visit my local constabulary a couple of years ago about some licencing matters and I found myself staring at the poster of "prohibited weapons" and doing the Beavis and Butthead laugh ... "hnr hnr hnr .... Tdhis is coool !"
The guy on duty couldn't help himself and was trying not to laugh.
I told him, "We should steal this poster ... it is too awesome for this wall "
When he came back, I had taken it off the wall and rolled it up. I asked him for a rubber band. He got one and then as he handed it to me noticed the poster was missing... errr.....WTF !!! Oh ok, if you want it that much that you can keep it ! The only people who see it are probeys and it's probably better we don't advertise to them.

oh anyone interested, the ebay 10 pack of rubbers and leathers attached came no problems. My sling don't have the arm brace and i think it originally came from a fishing shop as a 'burly dispenser'.

I have a feeling that detaching the rubber from the frame, doesn't make it suddenly legal.
If you have a AK47, and just took out the firing pin, would the police say, thats OK (if they saw it) ? I don't think so.
