s.Darko (2009)

This is the sequel to Donnie Darko and the same actress (Daveigh Chase) features in the role of Samantha in both movies.This one is set 7 years after Donnie Darko.

Before watching this one, I saw Donnie Darko again and I’ve got to say that s.Darko is weirder than the first if that’s possible. To try and describe the story is impossible without ruining the tale but revolves around Samantha and her friend on a road trip when the car breaks down, leaving them stranded in a small desert township.

This is where the similarity with heaps of other like movies ends. It’s not a movie for everyone but if you liked Donnie, you should watch this one and make up your own mind. I thought it was ok.

Donnie Darko was a good film (from memory).... will have a look see at this...
