Default Verbatim CD-R made in India. Not good?

I just realised that the 50 pack of verbatim DataLife+ CD-R I purchased is made in India.

The problem is I burnt some of the media as audio cds and none of them are recognised in my Audio CD Changer.

The previous 50 pack of the same media I used were made in Taiwan and work every time in my Cd Changer.

I suspect that the latest Made In India batch I got is just poor quality and should be avoided. Has the quality realy dropped that much since the India media has started to appear. Anybody else experiencing similar proplems with Verbatim India made media?

Could be that, just try some different media.

I usually stick the one brand/source once ive found a good one.

Older Cd Changers/players can be very fussy with media

Wonder if all their media manufacturing is going to move to India. I actually prefer their DVD-R's and hope they don't change.
    If I want too,I can, I will

There can be significant issues with variances and tolerances of media, down to the types of dyes they use.
A lof of domestic CD players are not specified as able to read CD-R media, some will even though it's not stated, and some will only read certain brands of disc and not others.
As suggested, try different brands. I have stuck with Imation for a long time now as I have found them to be consistently reliable.

I thought Verbatim datalife+ media was supposed to be the higest grade Verbatim available. Compared to the cheaper standard verbatim media which can be found everywhere. Although they outsource the manufacturing process to third party companys.
