Picked up a GDR-8161B DVD ROM drive because I read that i can read Wii disks.
Does a certain ROM for this drive work better than the other?
What else I can use it for?

usb gecko, because it is so new is only a tiny bit faster than the LG drive. The firmware is upgradable though, so its not really an issue right now.
