Hi
I Live in New Zealand and am wanting to be able to (if possible) get a tv tuner that i can insert my sky subscriber card into and watch sky channels on my computer. I have emailed a few companys worldwide and they have said that they do not know of any tuners that support NZ sky TV.
One company told me to come here and read up about a program NDSCAM.
Does any1 know what this program is and how to use it.
Thankyou

if you like to try I do have satellite pci card for mce with Ci .I am from kiwiland too ($200 each Thaanks its fine with free to air and Irdedo with cam. I didnt try Any others )
I have the software you need to decode (in real time) the UHF Sky channels. The only issue is that Sky will decommission their UHF services in the next few years.
You don't need a Sky card to do it. It just works with any TV tuner card that uses the BT878 chipset.
In answer to your question, I have seen tuner cards that have a smartcard slot. In fact I probably still have one or two of them in a box somewhere.
Only issue is I was never able to find out who made them, therefore could not locate the drivers for them.
