The gams not been out of the phoenix in nearly 3 weeks and still going.

I"ve not been able to get it to go as long as this using newcs without falling over before.

When this thread started I setup an extra mgcamd client on my Linux server with au on.

Server is running "several" cccam clients as well. I am using newcs v1.3, 24/7

My white card fell over yesterday, right on time.

Newcs v 1.5 was not mentioned till post #19 for some reason.

Its easy to just rotate my whiteys every Monday morning.

    I need the exercise anyway.

What do you find not stable Chief? Are you using Win32 or Linux version?

I can say win32 is perfect for me. No pixels, no crashes, no freezes, dreams logon no worries and any cam version I've tried works.

Hey warbo are your clients on WAN or LAN?

My setup is very stable on WAN so I dont want to disturb clients by changing to newcs v1.5 - tho I'd like to.

Latency using win32 is a concern, increasing up to 200 ms over linux in my tests.

The problem with card updating is with Newcs has nothing to do with cam. 1.31 and 1.50 are worse because newcs changes the HSN when it sends the emm to the card and card will just reject the emm

Guys, I have setup a laptop running XP and newcs1.50 and mgcamd client (v1.29) on wan.

I get an "ecm ok" log every 10 seconds.

I get another ecm log every minute, "card AU on reader was successful"

So fifo is a linux app? Do you use Newcs win32 and just log it with fifo or do you use the Newcs linux version? I suppose you are using linux.

I use the win32 version and putty.
