Hey nic55, If you look here > you'll see there is only two wires connected from the incoming power. This means no earth/grounding (no green&yellow wire). Hence I think you will need to ground lnb using the other threads suggestions.

Not correct, I have received my 518 from Fernbay about 2 weeks ago and it has the earth wire connected. Have a look.

There are two diferent types of DM518.
One with a three pin earth lead that also earths the LNB.
There is also another version that uses a external 2A 12v supply that does require the LNB to be earthed.
There is also the DM528's that have a figure 8 lead

what's the warranty for the boxes?.

3 months RTB. The warranty covers hardware faults only. The fault must be re-producable. Operator competence is not covered or g'teed

I can offer a full 12 months if you want (return to China at your cost), but honestly, for the postage required you may as well just replace it.
