    Default latest NavNGo iGO8

    Ok so I have:

    NavNGo iGO8
    8.0.0.41506
    Jun 3 2008

    Running on an HTC Diamond beautifully!

    I have map:

    Australia R14
    [Sensis 080215]

    with

    basemap 2007.07
    Data Source NIMA VMAP0 [080117]

    SO my question is this...Is there a later map available for this and should I upgrade to 8.3 if it is working well?

    If so would someone be kind enough to send me a link to the aforementioned in here?

    Cheers guys,

    Matt

    does this support WVGA 480x800 resolution?

    I am guessing that the map posted here is not compatible with the Nav N Go iGO 8 v8.3.2.87762 (April 27 2009) - R3 PDA version

    Hi, check this one:
    Mar 2009 - Version 8.3.2.80621
    Mar 2009 - 8.0.0.716609
    There is more stuff. Version 10 data.zip with all resolutions
    or you can use 240x400 and put this
    [rawdisplay]
    class="portrait" ; not sure 100% about this one
    highres=1
    screen_x=480
    screen_y=800
    in your sys.txt file
    Naviextras dot com talks about 8.0.0.88902 (May 6 2009) for PDA
    I've seen somewhere May 2009 - 8.3.2.91972 and someone
    mentioned 8.3.3 version, and there is 8.4 Amigo version.
    Regards ojejoe

    Default Help sound not working

    I am using iGo 8.3.2.91972, Australia map 2008.Q3(081205) and base map 2007.07. Its running of the SD card in my Asus 636 PDA. All works as expected except there is no voice commands from Kate or her US friend. TTS or otherwise, any clues as too where I've gone wrong.!

    Are the POI files and SpeedCam files intercompatible between v83 maps and v80 maps for iGO? It's well known that you can NOT use v83 maps on v80 of NavnGo, and vice versa, but how about POI and speedcam files?

    Just bought another Chinese clone GPS off eBay. It came with a cracked 8.4 Amigo.
    Loaded in a Dimka skin and it looks very nice
    No DEM or POI files though

    Just about everything except the maps works equally well on either version. So yes POI & SpeedCam files are interchangeable.
