GH Metallica PS2 with Controller?

Hi,

Just got GH Metallica for PS2 and was intending to play it with the standard ps2 controller.

When I ever i try and either quick play or career mode it tells me it needs a microphone and wont let me play.

Can't I play this like i did with the earlier guitar heros??

actually guessing that i need at least a guitar to play......

I feel you do need a guitar plugged in, otherwise you get know where. The GH games I have all require the guitar....be a bugger if you don't have one...Eb Games do sell 2nd hand guitars for GH if you can't afford a new one.

I got mine for $19 second hand...have a look at Target if you have one near you, as they have a lot ( or used to ) of PS2 compatible guitars.

Tons on Ebay as well.
