hi i have a irdeto card v5.3
i want to make a backup of it.
i have a phoenix programmer (from jaycar)

couple of questions.
-what software should i use to copy it?
-or to unlock it, read it, etc
-what type of blank card should i be using. gold silver, etc?

i am a beginner at this. so some detailed instructions would be much appreciated. thank you

Try a photocopier or a camera. Its about the only way your going to make a copy of that card at the moment.

am i only able to copy the older generation cards?

Dude you cannot copy any of the Irdeto 2 cards its not like the old days

is the hardware not able to read the card?
or is it software related? ie there is no availble software to access the info.

does it support those contacts on the card. as i have access to another card that i think has the same contacts.

It has nothing to do with the contacts, its related to the security which is built into the cards themselves.

same as above, you can read the basic details with FMcard, like HSN,PRID,ATR,Acii serial and version, but you cant clone it

There is a problem, there are some people here that are selling cloned zeta cards with irdeto ACS v5.3, and this works great, what I said is that some people are capable of cloning this cards to other zeta card which its subscription has expired (that is, they clone the original working card to a expired subscription card).

Is there some info about that?
Perhaps if they have the HMK and the PMK it's enought to clone the card? (that's because some of them perhaps get the HMK and PMK from some person in the provider or something like that, I can't belive they do it alone).

they have the RSA & OTA key and can behave like the provider altering whatever card details they like

how did they achieve this - by reverse engineering the card e.g. destructive microprobing on the exposed silicon die of a stack of irdeto cards

I've skills in low level programming, is there some "hacking" documentation or something like it to read about this techniques?

To make reverse engineering to the card, I need some software to disasemble the code in the card and then see how it works, does exists some sofware to work with the irdeto cards?

Finally, imagine I get the RSA and OTA keys from the provider, how can I use them with the card? Does exists some software to access the cards y can get on the Internet or I need also the software the provider uses??

Can we use BRUTE FORCE atack to the card to get the RSA and OTA keys or there will be a block in the card if I try this.
