Just a question of curiosity as to how you new members got here I reckon Google will win going on the amount of people that said they got here that way in their introduction threads.

Many moons ago, a close friend wanted me to make him a 'gold card'.
Took me a bit over a week to organise some blanks, programmer and do some reading here (although I had previously used cdcopyworld)
Then I decided I would try and give something back & started posting rather than just leaching.
The next thing you know, I had morphed into a 'friendly logger' & was helping out others.
Now I'm just an old grumble bum nazi moderator
I would say for the newer members it would be google.
Whenever I google something, Austech pops up all over the place & dominates the top listings
Often google refers me back to my own posts

I herd member Bassett talking about Austech on another forum,
I then did a Goggle search, & found that the information was much better here,
& because this forum is setup much better, more interesting things can be discussed here,
At first, I was happy to listen to the wealth of knowledge from the many Highly Knowledgeable Members here,
But as time went on, even though I don't know as much as them, I like to give back & help if I can.

Toke told me to get my butt over here and help moderate
I originally found the old psx board through a search engine (Yahoo maybe? Might have been altavista)
Coding in C is like sending a 3 year old to do groceries. You gotta tell them exactly what you want or you'll end up with a cupboard full of pop tarts and pancake mix.

There was nothing like the sense of accomplishment, of cloning onto a $7 virgin Goldie, to brings up the picture, those were the days...
