Default Dual Boot OSX & Xp Laptop?? have you done it

Has anyone tried this.... as I wish to try my hand at learning to program for the iphone?? I assume (incorrectly perhaps) that this would be sufficient

It works very well and you have found all the necessary resources at the osx86 website. Just to show off my computer has a multi boot setup with 14 unique operating systems including leopard.

hmmmm seems not as easy as I thought. I have ideneb v1.4 and no matter what "custom" settings I choose, she won't boot. going to try a different distro. (iAtkos). I am a little confused about which "kernel" I should be using voodoo seems to be mentioned allot in forums so?? (installing on toshy M3)

edit: ps I gave up on installing it on the 2nd partition pretty early hehehe

I did it when Deadmoo first came out, was not too difficult.

If you don't have supported hardware, pointless trying,.,

the only thing that it had to support was sse2/sse3 instructions. which the toshy does. the rest of the hardware is pretty stock standard. it does have a nvidia viddy but.... which I have read can cause problems.

There is a few major distros, I think the one i have is calyway. Its the most evolved and developed version. It literally ran everything first go when 10.5.2 came out. osx86 is not for the faint hearted. You will need to do a lot of reading my friend especially if you unfamiliar with mac in the first place. Making sure your hardware is supported is the biggest issue.
