    Default Ripping Dvd's To Divx

I have a bunch of original DVD's i want to rip and compress to divx for playback on my xbox, i have AVS video converter which is great for avi to dvd's but it wont let me rip as they are original discs that are copy protected. What are my options, i want to convert them to 720x576 @ approx. 700-800mb which seems to be ideal for XBMC playback.

Run AnyDvd in the background to remove protection.

AutoGK - Auto Gordian Knot, is everything you will ever need for converting DVD's to avi.....its free too....

Plenty of settings to get what you need.

It's suprising how easy it is to do when you have the right tools.

AutoGK hasn't had much of a look in, since i discovered DVDFab. It really is a one-stop app for converting DVDs to damn near any current format you care to think of. PSP, NDS, XBox360, PS3, iPods, phones, xvid, mp4, etc. etc.

It's dead easy and just works.

Not sure why you're animations aren't working. AutoGK and DVDShrink both shouldn't care whether it's a live or animated movie.

btw, I have had some problems with AnyDVD in the past and no longer use it. Not sure why you were advised to use AnyDVD, as AutoGK uses DVDDecrypter anyway doesn't it?

It's been a while since I had to do this but I was fairly certain AutoGK had an advanced setting for animation movies.
