Octagon SF 518 STB.

Hi guys,

I have Octagon SF 518 STB, could some tell me which firmware would be the best to use with this box, as I have tried my foxt#l card and it comes up scrambled channels, also I have installed, my IRDETO CAM V2.26 and tried the Aurora gold in the IRDETO 2.26 cam it also comes up scrambled channels
The card Aurora works in my Strong STB's but will not work in any of the Octagon slots, I thought testing the IRDETO CAM V2.26 in the Octagon it would work, but no go.

I was told the these boxes work fine on Aurora and Foxt#L cards without any cams

I have one of these junk boxes.
Please share your fix so I may change my mind about the slow, clumsy and annoyingly bright doorstop.

Previously my Arion 3330 wore the garbage crown.

I would not say they are junk boxes, I quite like them, they are a bit different than the Strong STB's to setup, but once you get the hang of Octagon they are a great STB.

I just went to the menu...press 9999 and turn on updates for NDS then you can watch Fo*tel on the box

I wished it would work to update NDS for S*y here in NZ!!

G'Day all adherents,
I've been a little pre-occupied with too many things on my plate. I hope to get this little beauty going and put it through it's paces very soon. I do hope that every one will keep us informed here the same as the other models.
