If vB, have a look in WHM. Once set there it checks every 7 days NTP.
Must be the same server as here. Been fixed.

    Cool Time Standards.

I don't like that very much. It's to synchronise with an internal hardware clock.
Perhaps you can get better info here:-

I think that if you are on a domain you can't use alternative NTPs, it is part of the overall domain security scheme. Might be easier to get your IT man to fix the server time using a NTP.

You sould have your "Master" Domain server sycn with an external time source. Then let the whole windows domain thing cascade down.

    What we have is

Desktop Windows Get the time from their Domain Controller's
Non DC Servers get there from from the Domain Controller's
Domain Controllers get their time from 1 of 2 ntp/sntp time servers (Linux)
Linux Time servers get their time from 1 of many internet time servers.

Any 3rd party non windows device gets its time from one of our interal Linux Time servers.

This has never missed a beat. Only the linux box's talk to the internet for time and they do that as often as needed to keep in sync. ie: if High drift rates, the connect more oftern, if low drift rates the connect less often.

For a reference, we have about 30 Servers and about 2500 end devices spread out over 20+ Sites that sync their time. We have never had any issues (out side of the normal Daylight Savings Changes)

    edit:
Note: in the link i posted I was meaning to use the NTP setup for syncing the clock. It does work.

And yes, I kinda did miss the point... you SHOULD get the system fixed and not bypass it. Kerbose will fail if the clocks are too far out, and you want get access to some network resourses.
