    Default need help with old goldie

    G'day all. I have a major problem i was trying to copy a gold card that i use to get Aussie channels on optus c1. I'm in new Zealand and the TV program suck here. so i like to watch central 7 sometimes. I'm not a kiwi I'm and American and when i say TV suck here in nz i mean it. I programed this card about 3yrs ago. Somebody help me with it on this site i think. i have went back and read on your forum and have downloaded the gfgold v2.2.6 dual no updating and the gfgold v226 eeprom.hex. i know this has been programed with ghost gold or lmedit. I have downloaded lmedit and it looks like the program i use 3yr ago lol. I have erased the card is there anyway and reprogrammed on the v2.2.6 back on but it does work when i put the card in the stb. Do need to put in the hmk, mk .pmk numbers again. i don't know where those number are now. Can someone help me out here.I'm using a infinity usb unlimited programmer to do this with. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks

    1. You will need to load Ghost Gold on to the new card first.

    2. Use lave multi edit to read the details off the existing working card and save the file.

    3. Put the new card in the reader and load the file that you just made and write it to the new card. It will write hsn , prov id , pmk and hmk to it and valid plain keys.

    Hope that makes sense. Its not something I have done for quite a few years.

    Prussian cards are later generation Fun cards with more memory. They're backward compatible with all emulator programs written for Fun card.

    So if you have a suitable programmer you could put GhostFun 1.0 onto your Prussiancard4 and load Irdeto 1 keys for Optus C1 Aurora (australian programs) onto it using LMEdit, the same way you did for your goldie.

    Your programmer needs to be capable of writing to blank Atmel AVR processors. Prussian/Fun cards use Atmel AVR, unlike gold & silver cards which use PIC processor, so to program blank Prussian/Fun you need a programmer that supports Atmel AVR. JDM mode (found on Jaycar Mk II programmer for example) is specific to PIC cards and incompatible with AVR.

    The technical process of programming AVR and PIC processors is quite different to Phoenix programming mode.
    • Programming a PIC involves putting a high voltage onto one of the pins and sending the code & data to its pins in a special way that's unique to PIC.
    • Programming an AVR doesn't need a high voltage but also needs a special sequence of pin operations to write the code & data that's unique to AVR.
    • Phoenix programming mode involves sending standard ISO7816 commands that all smartcards support regardless of processor, but it can't be used on blank cards because such cards don't yet know how to listen to commands.

    There's a nice background article .

    Funcard = Funcard2 = AT90S8515 + 24C64
    PrussianCard = Funcard3 = AT90S8515 + 24C128
    PrussianCard2 = Funcard4 = AT90S8515 + 24C256
    PrussianCard3 = Funcard5 = AT90S8515 + 24C512
    PrussianCard4 = Funcard6 = AT90S8515 + 24C1024
    JupiterCard = AT90S2343 + 24C16
    JupiterCard2 = AT90S8535 + 24C64
    FunCard ATmega161 = ATmega161 + 24C64
    FunCard ATmega163 = ATmega163 + 24C256
    BlackCard = ATmega128 + 24C256

    The mega processors are potentially faster because they have extra instructions (eg multiply) and extra addressing modes, but in practice few smartcard programs take advantage of those features.

    You can find it .

    It doesn't include keys. You can load the keys yourself by editing the "GhostFun Personal.CRD" file and sending using FMCard. Or alternatively you can type the keys into a program like LMEdit and send them to the card that way.

    The CoCo values are supposed to be 3 bytes each.

    I suggest you examine your working card with ggedit and lmedit, familiarise yourself with all the card data, then use those details to write a new card using either LMEdit or by editing the CRD files and sending using FMCard.

    Be prepared to do more reading if you don't understand what the parameters are and how big they're supposed to be. It's been discussed many times in the past so search forum and/or google and you'll find plenty of information.

    The Irdeto 1 parameters are discussed in this . It's written for Jaycar Mk II programmer but the principles apply to all programmers.
