There is no 'system.crd' when working with ghost gold. What you said above gives impression you think 'system' is part of FMCard, but it's not.

If you program "GFGold v2.2.6 Dual No Updating Coco.hex" into the 16F84(A) processor and "GFGold v226 eeprom.hex" into the external 24LC16 EEPROM you will find the ATR is fine.

If your programmer is not capable of programming "GFGold v224 eeprom.hex" into the external EEPROM then you can achieve the same thing in either of two ways:
    • Use FMCard to send "GFGold.crd" to the card.
    • Use LMEdit, choose Gold card, then click GPrep button to initialise the external EEPROM.

These both require Phoenix mode. They will only work once you've first programmed "GFGold v2.2.6 Dual No Updating Coco.hex" into the processor code. And if going the FMCard way you'll need to configure its option "ignore card errors", because when you first try to send GFGold.crd to the card (when external EEPROM hasn't been initialised) some errors can be expected, and they need to be ignored. Once the external EEPROM has been initialised the errors won't occur.

Once the external EEPROM has been initialised in this way you'll be able to send the key details: either sending edited "GFGoldPersonal.CRD" using FMCard, or typing the key details into LMEdit and writing to card that way.

By key details I mean the HSN & HMK if the Aurora PMK is rolling, or PMK & ProvID if it's not, or plain keys if keys aren't changing at all. If in doubt then type in everything you have.

    Default GGEdit

    Have had a win
when using GGEdit or FMCard and also LMEdit all need MultProg Up and Running and Power On also to read to and to load, GPep works well in GGEdit
enable you to Edit the CoCos, Psk etc. etc

So I now have a goldCard with Serial number Version 1.2v

have on two Stations up from D1 Win WA and GWN but no Pics as yet Quality is 77%

Other Providers Like NDS are at 66%
Would it be great to Watch some of them.

Sorry guys for on you case but with programs with out instructions doesn`t make any more easier but after all is it the challenge.
    Mick

You're on the wrong satellite Mick,

need to be on Satellite Optus C1 (between D1 & D2)

your gold card will not work on the Win & GWN on Optus D1

You are on Optus C1 if you can get the below FTA channels:

    INFO 156 E
    Help (Foxtel)
    NITV
    TVSN
    EXPO
    (......& a few others)

Of course you should also have the Aurora Channels (that are scrambled without a working card)

& lots of other encrypted channels for Foxtel & Austar & Others.

Have got fun Cards Pic 16F877 24LC64 having hell of a time to get LMEdit Finalizing the Cards thats the type Kangamail sold me but the Tutorial Easy Elvis Gold/Silver/Emerald uses the 16F876/7 Pic and the
24C64 is there a difference in these two
and why is LMEdit such a pain in the arse. They must run on a timer bit like GGEdit after awhileand play up
you have to delete it and start again.
