    Smile telstra surprise

after getting frustrated with cable internet usage exceeding 12gig limit and being shaped to a snails pace where I couldnt even load the bigpond homepage and spending a lot of time and frustration on the phone talking to people who I could not understand their english I was surprised to learn that they have a loyalty reward department.

I was told to talk to billing and after I explained my problem I was told that there was a loyalty department which I was connected with and was told that I could get a 25% discount so I was able to upgrade to 25gig plan for the same money.
Before you start asking why Im even with telstra I want to point out that cable is the best option I can have in my area as adsl2+ is not available and I was talking to people here in australia who spoke english which I could understand without having to ask them to repeat themselves numerous times.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised and must say that this was the first time that I ever got off the phone with telstra with any satisfaction.

I Have organized this for A few hundred clients over the last year or 2.
It also depends on who you get on the other end on what deal they do for you.
I use TPG's $49.95 plan as a base for stirring them up, in some cases they match that cutting $20 from their $69.95 plan, But recently they have been bigger tightasses with most clients offering only 20% or Sometimes 25% depending on who I get on other end...
Saved one client $600 on 2 accounts with bigpond, ( Home & Business) saved 2 X $25 per month for next 12 months. He was a Very Happy Client..

I have had no luck in negotiating with bigpond on my nextG account.
They have stated that if I was on Adsl (Icannot get)they could do something but no negotiations with wireless.
    Any Tips please
