ok having issue installing miopocket on the smart navi, where did you put the mio exe files and what did you rename to them?
ok finally got tomtom 7.450 on my smart navi dotn-300, but seems unstable and crashes saying not enough memory... about to edit the target file and get it to boot directly into tomtom and not load do-tel software at all and see how that goes
ok didnt seem to work, still going play with this

You need to go to instructions step 15. To use the latest version of Tomtom download 7.910.9185 and replace "TomTom Navigator.exe" & "data.chk" with on your SD card with the files in that archive!
You need use Easy Activator to create a new ***.dct file to use your map.
Check your pm.

got it loading the maps again, now crashing on startup again... :S
I have TomTom now on 2 SD cards and both were working until today, but now get out of memory message. I think what has happened is that I just close the program by powering off and not exiting correctly through the menu system.
I need a program something like Memmaid to clear memory. Memmaid won't install for me on my Destinator running WCE4.2.
Anyone know of a program that will do the job?

read on a forum that POI's can cause crashes... i cant get mine to boot atm..
try booting it up, then removing all POI's from displaying then restart it
I have removed my map Australia_830_2290 and TT7.WCE.4.2 and my ttnavigator.bif then re-copied my backup working files to the SD card now all working again ok. I reckon this TomTom program is very flaky and you should make sure that you exit properly through the menu system.

You wouldn't believe it, the TomTom worked well in my house then later I took it out to try in car, switched gps on and get "out of memory" error.
If I run it in Destinator mode it works perfectly. Might be better off putting TomTom map into Destinator and try out the new keygen.

When I finally got this program to work I felt very disappointed.
I also had problems which I think may be memory related.
On 2 GPS systems the program runs and looks perfect, then pauses.
I found that tapping the screen "kicks" it on again and it picks up where it should be- but then shortly after pauses again.
Frankly though I liked the look of the program, it was unusable,so I went to IGO8.3, which I like very much and has no problems!
I decided to just use my Destinator GPS with converted TomTom POIs and works well. Just would like to be able to use latest Tomom map as Destinator don't look like doing any updates at all.

Is it possible to use the latest map with TomTom version 6.03?
I find that by loading the latest version of TomTom, the navigation would be a little slow to respond while driving?

If you mean the 830 maps ,no .
You need at least Tomtom 7.9 to be able to use the latest maps.
Tomtom GO730 ,Navcore 9.004 ,Bootloader 5.5256 ,Map :Australia 845.2661ttmaps and Tomplayer on 16GB SDHC class6Password for all my files: downunder
For #12.1 of this tutorial I got a suggestion from another user : for the /Storage Card/ you need to use the name of your SD card!!
Located in the script TT7 Navigator.mscr...
Example : if your SD card shows up with "Sandisk" you need to either way change "Sandisk" to "Storage Card" or vice versa!!
When you are going to create MapSettings.cfg, you have to be very fast when you run TTN7BOT.EXE becouse inmediately a meesage could appear and ask you to reset your pna (this depend of you pna) and not be able to create the file. Maybe you have to try a lot of times (I try 6 times). You have to try many different letters in many times if it is necesary, choosen the first option always in the step 19. remember be quickly. The file MapSettings.cfg have size about 3k if it is less (2k or 1k) something is wrong. (This cabe seeing in the memory view putted in the pna in the size field)
If you put a bad MapSettings.cfg file then when you run TT7 Navigator.exe you get the memory problem.
Finally in the installation of tt7 is gonna apear in the upper right side the charging of the routes in smaller phrases, if this no appear something wrong is gonna be happen (yeah problem memory). In the part when tomtom asking you to put your addres press the NO buttoon becouse if you put yes, for an strange reason it give a memory problem again. Then whe the installing is complete and you cna configurate you gps, is able to put your addres in the menu.
Hope this will be of some help for the no map found problem!

Hi all !
And thank you for this great post!
I have tomtom 7.910 up and running on my medion pna200 with Western_Europe_830_2306 map and it runs just fine!
But!
i made the exact same installation on another sd card but with DE_AT_CH_and_Eastern_Europe_830.2306 map, and it gives me the out of memory error almost instantly after booting up with TT7 Navigator.exe
When i launch it via the org. TomTom Navigator.exe (7.450) in TT7.WCE.4.2 folder i kan get 2 the point where it tries to connect to sattelites before it gives me the out of memory error... same thing with easterneurope_830.2306 map
can someone please help
maybe someone could try to install one of these maps to test?
Have you read post #114 ?
Maybe your problem is related to that?

sorry i thought, that post was only related to "no map found problem" ??
sorry but i because i dont speak so good english i dont quite understand some details in your posts...
Does that mean what the storage card is called in explorer on the device?Located in the script TT7 Navigator.mscr...
Example : if your SD card shows up with "Sandisk" you need to either way change "Sandisk" to "Storage Card" or vice versa!!
i cant remember how i did it the first time, but i cant find a "mapsettings.cfg" file in the folder TT7.WCE.4.2 ??Make a new folder in "TT7.WCE.4.2" and name it "MapSettings" ,copy "mapsetting.cfg" from the folder "TT7.WCE.4.2" to new folder ("MapSettings")
Step 34 ??If you put a bad MapSettings.cfg file then when you run TT7 Navigator.exe in the step 34, it is gonna appear the memory problem.
sorry
1. Yes ,it eans the name displayed in Explorer.
2. At #6to 7.2 of the tutorial ,you have to plan a route after exiting you should have the "mapsetting.cfg" - maybe you need to search for the file.
3. Step 34 - forget about step 34 -that was for a different tutorial and I only forgot the remove the number here!

Keep getting stuck at this stage. I don't get mapsetting.cfg file anywhere.
Any ideas??
mapsetting.cfg is created when you run TTN7BOT.EXE and create a route.
It should be in your map folder, if it's not there, you haven't created a route.
