HTC diamond touch ROM

Hi, I want to download the latest optus/vodafone ROM from HTC but because I have a telstra serial number I can't access the ROM. Does anybody have the latest rom as the telstra factory shipped rom is crap.

ROM version: 1.96.710.5

Radio version: 1.08.25.20

Or I just need a optus/vodafone serial number from this model phone so I can download it myself.

Nice choice of phone, flash your phone with HardSpl then you can use any rom you like. Most stock roms are cr@p, and your probably getting wm6.1. You may as well get 6.5 nice eye candy, head over to xda developers forum for a time consuming venture in shopping around for a rom. thats right for you

Yes thanks mate, im very familar with that site as its the best in the business. I have hard spl installed. Its just that there aint much development on the wm6.5 side of things yet as its fairly new.

I put in the Hong Kong one in mine with some other various programs, Works like a charm

currently running 1.37.707.1 WWE 06/10/08
and radio 1.08.25.20might upgrade her in future with newer rom

I've just flashed mine with
Hard SPL 1.40 (unsigned)
Radio: 1.11.25.01
ROM:

The rom is way better than what Telstra ever thought they could do. Runs a bit faster, uses more memory. WM6.5. Has all the necessary apps installed with it. Still has a few bugs.

what flash utility did you use with the Deepshining rom ?

ROMUpdateUtililty.exe

Its normally included with all diamond roms but was not included with the deepshining one. You can find it on the xda-developers.com site. Just make sure you have Hard SPL installed on your phone first that way you wont brick your phone.
