    Default DVD ROM not refreshing

    Hi All,
I have a simple problem where my DVD ROM on my Aspire 9302 laptop will not refresh when I put a different disk in.
I have looked for a driver upgrade, but withour any luck.

Also windows tells me I'm running the latest drivers.
The only way I can refresh the DVD ROM content is do do a restart which is very incovenient.
    Thanks
    Xray

Do you mean when you change discs you still see the contents being shown from the disc that was in the drive previously?

I've seen this happen before and even refreshing doesn't help, if you right click and refresh without the disc in the drive it should clear this though and tell you to insert the disc and you should then be able to view the contents of the new disc correctly (works for me when this happens anyway)

I use DVD43 as well so maybe related, anyway refreshing when the tray is open clears the buffer, give it a try and see if it works for you
