12 Volt decoders?

Hi all, Other than the Strong 4654X, does any one else manufacture a 12 volt decoder. I am looking for a good unit for outback operation for GWN WIN etc.

By the way, can anyone confirm that official Irdeto 2 Aurora cards work in DM500S internal card slot? With which softcam? That's something I haven't tried.

You can also find Strong's list of authorised distributors . Buying from one of them means good support if you need to make a warranty claim down the track.

I'm told that Aurora V5.3 card definitely works in internal slot using scam, ccam, or mgcamd, or newcs/ccam. Scam offers advantage of not needing any configuration file tweaking (others such as cccam/newcs require the cam key to be edited).

Apparently the Aurora card activation works fine in scam/cccam 2.0.9.

Anyway that's good to know, cos I had trouble with Irdeto 2 cards in the internal slot in the past.

I've found scam works well with selectv Irdeto 2 cards and also the latest version of cccam 2.1.1 seems to be ok on it's own. But I haven't tried it long term.
