Default CRC Errors - Installing Programs

Ok Got a PC here and have googled with not much luck

I have donloaded various programs and programs from USB stick. When I goto setup each particular install I get various corruption errors (CRC, Bad file etc) Not copying from CD\DVD, these are files run from HD

Done a memtest then changed ram
    Completed an overnight Burnin Test
    Changed power supply
    Changed SATA cable
    Fresh install of XP
    Nothing changed the problem

    Only thing left is HD/CPU/Motherboard
Im pointing towards Motherboard. System is less than 8 months old running Gigabyte MB Kingston RAM 1gb Seagate
    Anyone had a similar problem?

    cheers

You could give a go to see what your HD SMART status is, but the Seagate tools probably does a similar thing.
