    Not as yet..

2 very busy days dealing with the idiots on WA roads.. taken far to much time , will attempt to compile my list again tomorrow to hopefully gt all current into a single list.

I found that even adding extra versions of the TP's didnt give me a full scan.. found that a few extra TP's killed some of the channels from a new scan..

so it open edit cut paste copy save & hope the pceditor doesnt continue to crash on me..

HOPE to have ti complete in a few days, will x reference with Fox mag to check then post up..

My list is V1.18 as per group image... ATM.

Im having the exact same issues as you. It seems like I never get the same list of channels twice when I do a scan.

There was a .dat file posted in another thread with a full list but it is a 1.20 database so I tried to export the channels then import them into my 1.18db but the that just really confused the crap out of the box. all the channels are there but they all give the message "channel unreachable"
Ive tried all sorts of different transponders I could find on lyngsat for C1..

By the way are you just entering the missing transponders manually when doing the channel scan or is there a file on the box that can be edited. Like the satellites.xml on a dreambox?

Anyway im off work for a few days so will keep tinkering, If i sort it will post back here.

BTW pceditor crashes on me ALL the time, its pi$$ing me off no end
    Cheers

Which image are you using? Most of the ones I've tried have the wrong LNB local freq setting for Optus C1 (10750 instead of 10700). Although it's close, you won't be able to scan all services. To fix, download into PCeditor (I use 1.2.51), & change the details in the LNB tab, save this version (PCeditor requirement), upload to 400S, reboot & scan again.

    Thanks JGM
Im using the image that came with box (its from the group buy)

Tried that but still dont get the full list. Also edited the transponder details for C1 in the NIT edit section to match the details on lyngsat then upload rescan and still missing a few such as ARENA.
    I will keep tinkering.

    OK All sorted
Download data from relook to PCeditor
Use NIT edit option to add/edit all transponders as per lyngsat for C1
    upload to relook
    manually scan each frequency
    All channels are go,
It seems like the automatic search does not pick up all channels.
    Thanks to all who helped

    File attached, lnb is 10700

    Cheers

Although it's not the problem in your case, sometimes missing transponders can be due to marginal signal strength. At the moment I find 12728V transponder is noticeably weaker than 12407V and 12527V. My DM500 brings in all three fine but at this moment with bad weather my Manhattan Plaza ST350 fails to get 12728V (it says No Signal). In better weather it's fine. So when I rescan Aurora on my Manhattan I get ABC WA but not the other ABC states.

When I get around to tweaking my dish or replacing its LNB with a newer one I expect the problem will go away. But my point is that missing transponders can at times be due to marginal reception, because each transponder has its own power and beam focus/position.

The automatic search on the 400 is only a search of the frequencies that were pre-loaded on the box when you got it, plus any others you added in manually. It's not a blind scan, so it won't find any new or missing frequencies of its own accord.

Definately the case, I think the problem was a combination of both missing frequencies pre-load and the auto scan not working completely.

When I manually added all the frequencies using PC editor and uploading the file to the box and did an auto scan it didnt find everything, then I simply did a manual scan on all the frequencies listed for C1 (which now included the ones I added) it found everything it should.

When I originally did a manual scan on the original list of frequencies that were pre loaded it didnt find everything.

    All good now.

GW1 as for the low signal I must admit that was in the back of my mind at one point, I am using the providers dish (60cm) and at one point I was about to replace it with a 90cm I have lying around but given that I am off work supposedly incapacited at the moment I really thought it might be a bit hard to explain what the hell I was doing up a ladder.

    Cheers All
