    That is is an "oldie"
Look for keygen4.1 in the thread for the new 845 maps
And you should be able to find a Navcore that was modified for your device.
The 730 Fullback link was updated later and is available somewhere in the forum

It appears the latest Navcore for GO 910 is now v7.903 ? So the Navcore and map here wont be working for GO910? What's the latest Australia map for GO910 then?

I'm still using my GO910 bought in 2007 from Dick Smith, map v650.

I don't know which Navcore you tried ,but with a XL you got yourself a very fuzzy device.
There are many XL's out there that only accept the original Navcore.
So you have to try till you find the Navcore that works for you.
Make sure you unpack/install the files and folders of the Navcore in the right place.
Thanks Downunder35m. I ill try a few different 1s see which work. The damn thing is painfully slow to copy to though

Your Navcore can still handle the 845.2662 map
Or you can try out some of the Navcores and fullbackups that I posted in the forum.
A Navcore higher 8.2 gives more features and full support for the 845.2661 map with IQ routes ,ALG and so on.
Not to mention the better look

That sounds like a wrong bootloader
What is the bootloader version number on your device ?

When i try the Easyusetool frontend 0.5.0.2, to patch the PNDNavigator File i get an error "Can't find".

then when i try and use the Dct-Frontend part i get a whole list of errors.
    1 example is

"There is no such map ('IGA_Store-AU.ov2') in keyfile 'Meta.txt'
    'IGA_Store-AU.ov2' - Error"

im using the map file 830_2305

and when i load the tomtom its says "NO MAPS FOUND!"

Well ,not all Navcores need the PNDNavigator file patched - most of the time it is the "ttsystem" that needs patching.
The "no such meta" error is for the POI files that you have installed as the tool searches for matching codes to activate them - you can disregard that.
The map is outdated ,so why not use the 845?
No map found means usually the map is not in the right folder.
The folder should be located in the root of the device and does not use special characters or spaces.

Make sure to use the update function for the meta.txt when using the Frontend

    Thanks DU,

how do i update the frontend using the meta.txt? i click on Load currant meta.txt. then the button changes to "download beendet" and it didnt ask me for the location of the meta.txt file. Also i tired the "ttsystem", and got the same error

also i was just experimenting with that old file to see if i could get it to work. (which i couldnt )

the dir i copied to is the same as the old 1.... i deleted the contents outta the old h:\Australia\ dir, then copied the newer files into it.

Which map version would be compatible with a TomTom XL? im dloading Australia845.2662 to give that a whirl
I am running 8010.9369, is this the right navcore for me? If not where/how can i upgrade it?

Sorry for being real noob, but i just cant get my head around this

PS. your help is much appreciated!

The 2662 will work with that Navcore.
It seems you some basic problems in understandig of how to use the Keygens.
Or you have massive problems with the security settings in your Windows.
Patching a Navcore or activating a map is usually a matter of a few minutes at most.

    Try again and fresh.
Follow the tutorial and keep in mind the map folder in the root with not special charaacters or spaces in the name ,inside the files for the map.
If installing the Navcore too : start the device once after install to generate a new ttgo.bif file.
Run the keygen of your choice from the PC with the device or SD card connected.
Make sure to have the right codes inside the meta.txt.

If using Vista or Win7 : always make a right klick on the keygen file and use "run as administrator".
If in doubt unpack the archive of the keygen to a folder on your desktop and run from there as admin.
For Keygen4.1 : disable your virus scanner and ZoneAlarm or add the Keygen to the exceptions for the scan.

That all advice I can give for a simple problem....

Thanks DU for all the info, i have been follow this and other threads to try to solve my TT upgrade troubles. But looks like i have it all sorted .. Well nearly.

I cant get the Voices to work.

I am running Navcore 8.412 Se and the 845 maps. All running good on my TT One.

I got a VocaliserTT voice from GPSUnderground and only loaded the one "Karen" in a VocaliserTT folder as per instructions. But I can not for the life of me work out how to get it to run.

I seemed to be missing a basic step. Any help would be appreciated.

Try to use a different voice - sometimes a just does not work for no good reason.
    Was Karen the Australian voice?
Ahh ,maybe : you should not have a folder "LoquendoTTS" on the device ,otherwise your TT will check there first.
