    Question Relook 400 & Select TV issues

    I've just Purchased one of these Relook 400's "bulk buy deal" and i'm am having great trouble getting the box to work realibly with a select tv sub card Irdeto 2 V5, i've tried fantasy team images,standard image preloaded & currently running Highlander 2.17.

    I don't intend on using this box for sharing i just want a reliable box for recording, the plugin that works but for only 20mins at a time becuase it freezes up is called mgcamd+newcs only way to fix it is to pull the card in and out.

    I've tryed to set it up with Cccam 1.71 + capmtserver
    here are the 2 lines in my config file

    N: 192.168.1.109 10000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    N: 192.168.1.109 10001 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    DVB API: 2

    the box will not display a picture all i get service is not available or scrambled i've never expieranced this much trouble with a box before my old nokia 9500 was easy lol.

    Can someone please help me with this box or my big Stihl MS 880 chainsaw will eat is for a snack.

    this is what i did to finally get my card working with cccam
    use the N:lines
    N: 192.168.0.2 10000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    where 192.168.0.2 is the ip for the relook box

    edit your newcs.xml file var/tuxbox/config and add these lines
    <newCSconfig>

    <readers name="Card Readers">

    again using the same ip as your box press menu 5 to start cccam

    You could try getting rid of that boxey line and also try changing carddetect to no.

It doesn't appear to come from any of the recognised development teams. The latest fantacy team image 2.13.6 is the way I would go.

    The problems with reading cards are generally to do with the emulators - not the image. You SHOULD be able to get your select card running on the fantacy image with the same cam configs you used on the relook-support image.

    [QUOTE=TurboIndustries;180680]I hate sounding like a broken record but all the units from the group buy were loaded with the latest image from "RelookSupport"

    They have emus already loaded ready to go. You just need to go to the plugins menu and choose the one you want.

    Can you report your Micom version number? You'll find it under System Information.
    Apparently there are problems with v 05.xx.xx Anything above v 06.xx.xx should be fine.

    As I said before, the RelookSupport images don't have any status. At present, there only appears to be 2 groups working on images for the 400s. The main group is Neumo who are re-writing most of the DGS code & correcting the bugs. This team have released version 2.13.6, and have an almost complete re-write (version 3) in beta.

    The other group is FantacyTeam who package the neumo releases and add emulators & other plugins. Their releases follow closely after the neumo versions.

    There are several other groups involved in Dreambox (enigma) images who package their images for DGS boxes. These groups appear to be mostly focused on the 200s (very similar to the DM500s) and the newer HD boxes. The closest Dreambox to the 400s is the DM7025, but the architecture of the 2 is so different, that the dual tuner DM images can't be translated to the 400s.
