cobra, being dead new to 400s i had probs with bulk buy image (getting goldie, Newcamd sofcams etc to work. Then had a go at the pli image (initial probs with image loading but got sorted with power/ right arrow button). Also had probs with pixelation due to NTSC settings instead of PAL - now sorted.

But hey, now working sweet with pli (OK no dual tuner - but not that interested). Have aurora 1 working with ppua and bluey card working with latest cccam (hopefully updating). Not sharing but still I am a happyish man.

Just got to figure out / organise the recording part.

Check our what weirdo has to say about pli for 400s.

You won't usually have to worry about flashing a new boot loader, unless you are going from an enigma image to one that supports both tuners. The 400s images types are often described in the titles, but can also be deduced from their size. The denktenk page explains it.

Try Fantacyteam 2.13.6. CCcam is included with the image & can be started by the blue button. You can upgrade to the latest version via menu - screen 4 - Plugins.

I tried Fantacyteam but its got a ugly lay out. I find sifteam to be the best but only one tuner works which is fine for the moment since i havnt got a hdd installed.
