Garmin Topo Au
Hi All
I have just purchased Garmin Topo Australia on micro SD card with SD adapter i would like to back it up or copy it so if the nuvi gets stolen i do not have to purchase it again but when i look at it on the computer it tells me that it is empty but when i look at properties in my computer it shows that 1.94 gig is used. Can anyone tell me if this can be done.

The map is "married" to the internal serial number of the SD card - even if could copy the file the map would not work on different SD card.
And be careful if you copy anything onto this card - you might overwrite informations needed to be able to use the map....

I found a copy of Garmin Topo Aust at this site have it working in Mapsource and on a sd card in my 760.
