I got a Tevion HD STB (nonPVR) a few years ago.
    Took it back 3 times.
Now I cant be bothered taking it back and just gathers dust.
Keeps freezing every time you channel surf.
Also the picture quality (colours) not as good as the Toshiba I replaced it with and the Strong 5300 SD box, still has the best picture.

I got the 2511 with the 250gb. IT is SD but I am happy with it. Crashes from time to time. Format of the HD sorts it out. I ties me over until I finish building my media center PC.

My Father bought one from Aldi, and guess what? The tuner used for recording died after a day. Back it went! (no hassles with the return or refund) Although they seem like a bargain, you only get what you pay for! It has the same crappy tuners as the $69 one from Strathfield. If it were me, I would steer clear of it and save my money to buy a better quality product.

In all fairness, my Dad is on the 2nd box and it hasn`t missed a beat. Problems with quality control?
