    Default Identify a white card

Sorry fort the nob question but I have been going round in circles.

I have been given a white card (no numbers on the card just plain white), it works on aurora so I don't want to distroy it.

When I put the card into LMedit or GGedit the software says check the configuration but I can put a Funcard into the reader and get the details off it fine.
If I use Card Explorer (with the same port and MHz settings) it reads the card but only gives me the provider id, no keys etc.

My reader is a Infinity USB Phoenix.

Like I say, the card works and I only want to look at the data for some more learning so I don't want to wipe or damage the card.

    Thanks

Could be a "Whitey" (sellers Card) for Aurora,

or it could be a "White" Gold Card,

or it could be a "White" Silver Card,

I haven't seen any "White" Emerald or Fun cards (but they could exist)

So if it coded with Ausgold, what do I use to read the card etc?
    LMedit etc don't work.

I think Ausgold Cards usually have some copy protection,

Do a search for Ausgold Card Writer

Thanks, I have a copy of AusGold Card Writer.

When I open the card with it I get differnet ProvID numbers than the ones I get with Card Explorer. ProvID 00 00 02 and 00 00 03 which don't look right.

    Maybe it is protected.

Ok, my Ausgold card says "Yes" (in the Protected box)

So it may, or may not, be something else,

Someone else may have some more ideas,

    Cheers

    Thanks anyway

I don't want to break the card so I might leave it at this point.
